THE VISION
I’ve always loved Olirose’s grip socks for my pilates classes — their style, the quality, the vibe, everything. For the longest time, I dreamed about what it would be like to shoot one of their collections as a photographer, but it always felt like one of those “maybe someday but I'm probably over-achieving” goals. So when Olivia (owner of Olirose) reached out to me, I couldn’t believe it. I was beyond excited — honestly, a little stunned—because it was something I never truly thought would happen. Getting the chance to bring their brand to life through my lens was an opportunity I couldn't pass up!
THe PLanning
A few months ago, a brand I absolutely love sent me a DM on Instagram to see if I’d be interested in working together—and duh, I was so excited! It wasn’t until later that they reached out with a specific collection in mind (OR x CB Varsity Collection), and I was instantly down for the project. Even though I had a jam-packed schedule that week, including a shoot in San Diego the same day, I made it work by driving from San Diego to Orange County and then right back down just in time for my San Diego client. To make things even more exciting, we were collaborating with influencer, Carrie Bankston, who was flying in town with limited availability—so we had to line everything up just right. It was a bit of a juggling act, but when it’s a project this fun, you just find a way!

The Execution
The day of the Olirose brand shoot was an absolute blast! Olivia, the incredible owner of Olirose, brought along her long time best friend and content creator, Kendall (@heirloomcontentco), who came to capture behind-the-scenes iPhone content—and the two of them together were such a fun duo to work with. Their energy was infectious, and it made the whole shoot feel more like hanging out with friends than working. Olivia coordinated the location and had thought of every detail, bringing along custom props that were perfectly tailored to her brand’s vibe and this specific varsity collection. From start to finish, the day was full of creativity and such good energy—I left feeling so grateful to be part of it!
The outcome
The outcome of the Olirose photoshoot couldn’t have been more perfect—we captured such beautiful, fun content and had the best time doing it! The energy on set was so positive and collaborative, and Carrie, Olivia, and Kendall were all amazing to work with. I’d jump at the chance to work with any of them again and to shoot another Olirose collection in the future. Everything about the shoot—the vibe, the vision, the people—just clicked, and I am so excited about what we created together. And most importantly, Olivia loved the photos! I truly hope this isn’t the last time we collaborate! You need to get your hands on a pair of these adorable ruffle grip socks before they sell out!
