It all began with a simple pitch to Teressa Lane for a spring jewelry shoot to highlight her gorgeous pieces. We set up a call to chat about her goals for the brand and identify her target market. Teressa shared her excitement about opening a new storefront in Carlsbad, but mentioned her struggle to attract a younger crowd into the store. She was particularly interested in hosting jewelry workshops and marketing permanent bracelets, which are popular trends with girls in their 20’s!

After understanding Teressa's goals better, I knew we had to create an event that would resonate with her target audience and create some buzz around her store. So, I planned an influencer event, scouting and pitching influencers myself to help Teressa gain more exposure. The idea was to leverage their reach by having them post TikToks, reels, and Instagram stories, boosting her engagement and driving traffic to her new store.
To make the event even more special, I pitched small food and beverage brands to sponsor the event. We were thrilled to have Gorgie Drinks, Cocoplaya Cookies, and MRKT Space join us. Their delicious treats not only elevated the event, but provided them with exposure as well as the influencers, teressa and myself tagged them in our posts on multiple social platforms, creating a win-win situation for everyone!

On the day of the event, the influencers arrived, each with unique flair, ready to make some beautiful, lasting jewelry. They captured and shared moments from the day, showcasing the stunning pieces, the lively atmosphere, and the fantastic food and drinks.
Directing and photographing the event was an absolute blast! The setting was vibrant, and seeing the girls truly appreciate Teressa's craft made for a fabulous time and beautiful photos. I aimed to capture not just the elegance of her jewelry, but also the joy and engagement of the influencers, ensuring the vibes of the brand and the event could be felt through every image.
The photos truly captured the magic and fun the girls were having, showcasing the incredible experience future customers could have when they book a jewelry workshop slot or request matching permanent jewelry.
