THE VISION
Corinne, the owner of Kove Salon, previously named "lashed by Corinne" had a new brand concept in her mind, and was seeking professionals to help bring it to fruition. Before reaching out to me, she had already been working closely with a marketing agency based in Florida. With their guidance, she set assembled new color schemes, a brand identity and positioning. Corinne forwarding me this brand deck was extremely helpful for illuminating her vision to not only me, but the rest of the team. It truly takes a village!
When she reached out to me, I could see exactly what she was going for and couldn't wait to take her brand to the next level! From there, it was time to begin planning the specifics and assembling the rest of the crew.
THe PLanning
Corinne curated the best media team and models for this shoot. Aside from me, she also recruited a videographer and content creator to capture a wide range of materials to market across all platforms. I knew having a strong, cohesive vision for this project would be crucial to ensure that all of us creatives were working towards the same goal, and Corinne came prepared with everything we needed to be on the same page. Her mood boards and inspiration photos gave us a specific energy and tone to convey throughout the shoot. With the vision set in stone, we booked our shoot at Warm Studio in Costa Mesa and finalized our pre-shoot preparations!
The Execution
When the day of the shoot arrived, we all felt excited and confident in our abilities to execute the vision. We curated a selection of lash products and tools to highlight the studio's expertise. The location we chose had a studio that highlighted the clean, chic aesthetic, ensuring the lighting was soft, but bright enough to emphasize the lashes. The natural lighting created a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere and, ultimately, a playful yet professional campaign.
The outcome
Corinne was so happy with the way her photos turned out! We nailed the look of her inspo photos to a T. Not only was Corinne ecstatic about her photos, but this shoot also caught the eye of the marketing agency she worked with in the beginning. The agency reached out to me expressing their interest in making me their on-staff photographer for California-based clients. Since the photoshoot, Corinne has continued to grow her brand and reach new audiences. Her goal was to make everything feel authentic and elevated, capturing the essence of the lash studio’s brand while appealing to her ideal clientele.
